Mining Staff Required in New Zealand

A mining company operating on the South Island’s West Coast, Pike River Coal, has turned it’s recruitment energy towards South Africa and Australia after receiving only two applications for it’s twelve nationally advertised jobs

The company is hiring in the run up to beginning it’s mining operations near Greymouth and has currently employed 70 people, but expects to double that by the middle of 2009.  So far they have recruited skilled electrical staff from both South Africa and Australia and are continuing to advertise there.

New Zealand’s labour shortage means openings abound here for skilled migrants.  Check out the opportunities that may be available for you at www.workingin-newzealand.com.
